Clear the lock mechanism as indicated by the door loc light by pressing and holding in the oven door light switch for 20 to 30 seconds. If the door is opened and the door lock mechanism is locked to deal with this open the door and locate the door switch plunger. For many ovens the oven on light is solid when it is on but blinks when the self cleaning cycle is on.
